Create your own Telegram bot, connect it to the Mac app — and control Claude Code from any device. No servers, no accounts, just your bot and your Mac.
Your own Telegram bot as a bridge to Claude Code on your Mac
Open @BotFather in Telegram and create a new bot. You'll get a bot token — that's your private key.
Paste the bot token into Claude Remote on your Mac. Send /start to your bot — the app captures your Chat ID automatically.
Send a message to your bot from anywhere. The Mac app picks it up instantly, runs Claude Code, and sends the result back to Telegram.
Everything you need for remote AI-powered coding
Use your own Telegram bot from iPhone, Android, tablet, or desktop. Anywhere Telegram works — Claude Code is one message away.
The app polls Telegram in real time. Your message reaches Claude Code in under a second, and the response comes back to the chat instantly.
You create the bot, you control the token. Only your Chat ID is allowed — nobody else can talk to your bot. No third-party servers, no accounts to create.
Minimal footprint — just an icon in your menu bar. Auto-start, auto-update, built-in /status command.
The Mac app talks directly to the Telegram Bot API. No Firebase, no relay servers, no cloud dependencies. Everything runs on your machine.
No trackers, no hidden code. The entire source code is on GitHub — review it, build it yourself, or contribute.
Download the app on your Mac and control Claude Code from anywhere.
macOS may show a warning for apps downloaded outside the App Store
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file and drag Claude Remote to your Applications folder.
Try to open the app — macOS will block it. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.
Open your bot in Telegram and send /start. The app captures your Chat ID — you're connected.
